- Urgent health problems are seen at the Carlyon Road Health Hub, which is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6:30pm. Please note that this is not a walk-in service, and an appointment is essential. Due to the urgent nature of these appointments, they may sometimes overrun. The Hub has specialist urgent care staff, and this service cannot given at the other sites.
Routine Care:
- This is for non-urgent or ongoing medical problems.
- A clinician will review your request. We will get back to you with the next steps.

Home visits
- We can visit patients at home if they cannot leave the house. This does not include those who have difficulty with transport or are reliant on others to get to the surgery.
- Please ask for a home visit before 11am if possible, as most visits take place over the lunch period.
- Our clinicians triage home visits. You may get a visit from a doctor, nurse, or Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP).
- We like to see patients in our clinic because we have the right equipment. If you can come to the clinic, we can give you more complete care and treatment.
- Please do not request a home visit in cases of medical emergency. Instead, call 999 immediately.
- If your GP refers you, a Community Nurse might visit you at home. Also, if you have a new baby or a child under five and are recently registered with a GP, a Health Visitor will visit you.
