I completed my foundation training here and prior to my GP training I was a surgical trainee and continue to have an interest in Surgery and Orthopaedics. Currently I have 3 professional roles. With St Austell Healthcare I am a part time salaried GP with a developing interest in Womens Health. I am involved with medical student training within the practice and as part of my role as a Professionalism development Tutor for Exeter University. I also work as an out of hour clinician for Kernow Health. Outside of work I'm a busy Mum of two and thoroughly enjoy the lifestyle this wonderful part of the world offers! |

Qualifications: MBChB (Sheffield 2009), MRCGP, DRCOG I qualified ‘Up North’ in Sheffield in 2009 and I have had the great privilege of working as a Doctor ever since. Like many of my patients I moved down to Cornwall to be near the coast and to enjoy the wonderful outdoors. I briefly moved home to Nottingham to undertake Core Medical Training in 2011 but Cornwall pulled me back again and I suspect I am here to stay – especially in light of the fact I have married a Cornish sailor! General Practice for me is challenging but extremely rewarding. I am fortunate to work within a friendly, highly skilled and supportive team. I am interested in all aspects of general practice especially women’s health and have obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Outside of work I am busy caring for my toddler and I am often to be found trying to entice her away from the beach. Dr Charlotte Patton
