If you need help getting to healthcare appointments such as GP appointments or hospital appointments there are community services who can help.
These services charge a small fee. (TAP) Transport Access People - TAP provides a dedicated service for people to get to healthcare appointments and a wide range of social activities. Our volunteer drivers are on hand to provide daily transport for patients, such as; Renal, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Cardio, Scans, Stroke and GP appointments. 01872 223388 https://cornwall-link.co.uk/activity/transport-services-%7C-tap-into-community-transport (Rvs) Restormel Car Service - Royal Voluntary Service volunteers provide Community Transport for trips where mobility issues can make it difficult, if not impossible, for you to use public transport or if you live in rural areas with limited transport. Trips usually include getting to or from hospital or to a GP appointment but can also include trips to the shops or into town or to social activities. Our team of transport coordinators will match you with a volunteer driver and will arrange for them to pick you up in good time.
